Here’s my latest map illustration for Blue Ridge Outdoors Magazine, featuring Brevard, North Carolina. I’m really happy with how this one came out. I also got to do some waterfalls this time, which was pretty cool.

I'm no expert but I think your work is excellent. Why? Because I enjoy it :). It's got a nice feel to it, not intimidating at all.
Oh btw, it's a shame that I cannot see your page as I type my comment. I think it's because you've selected the full-page rather than the pop-up display for comments.

Your cartoon style is definitely reminiscent of Tin Tin and other comics from my childhood. Its very good quality work. When I see your map, what comes to mind is the friendly style for tourist maps. Very cool.

“I am so fortunate to have found Scott online; though we’ve never met in person, we collaborate virtually with great success. He makes every illustration special, and he frequently exceeds expectations as he envisions something more interesting, humorous or beautiful than what had been ordered. Given his talent, professionalism and versatility, I recommend him enthusiastically.”

“I contracted Scott in 2011 to design a large backdrop illustration for a trade show booth that my company was creating for the 2012 New York Toy Fair. Scott did an absolutely fantastic job putting the illustration together (on-time) and completely exceeding all of my expectations. I really enjoyed working with him and plan on working with him again. The quality of his work was great, and everyone that saw the backdrop commented on how great it was. Thanks a lot!”
