Here’s my latest map illustration for Blue Ridge Outdoors Magazine. This month features my hometown of Charlottesville, VA. I have to say I had no idea there were so many cool outdoorsy things to do nearby! But in my own defense, I live out in the woods with hiking trails, streams and a river right in my backyard, so I haven’t had much incentive to look elsewhere for cool outdoorsy places to go.

“I am so fortunate to have found Scott online; though we’ve never met in person, we collaborate virtually with great success. He makes every illustration special, and he frequently exceeds expectations as he envisions something more interesting, humorous or beautiful than what had been ordered. Given his talent, professionalism and versatility, I recommend him enthusiastically.”

“I contracted Scott in 2011 to design a large backdrop illustration for a trade show booth that my company was creating for the 2012 New York Toy Fair. Scott did an absolutely fantastic job putting the illustration together (on-time) and completely exceeding all of my expectations. I really enjoyed working with him and plan on working with him again. The quality of his work was great, and everyone that saw the backdrop commented on how great it was. Thanks a lot!”
