My Art’s So Dang Cool, Even Blind People Buy It!

My Art’s So Dang Cool, Even Blind People Buy It!

March 27, 2005 Posted by Scott DuBar News, Pop-Surrealism

A guy in my Spanish class bought one of my Learn to Love Yourself t-shirts recently and was able to drum up a couple of extra sales for me just a few days later. So I was feeling pretty talented and thinking people really dig my stuff. Then I find out that one of the guys who bought a shirt is blind. What a trip! He just heard a description of it and wanted it. Here’s the image that was on the shirt:

Learn to Love Yourself

It’s really quite humbling to know that even an enthusiastic description of my work would make someone want to buy it, even though they will never see it for themselves. You can see more of my pop-surrealism work here.
