I am so happy and honored to be invited to speak to students at
Tye River Elementary School about my first children’s book, Short Pump Bump! Here’s the flyer I designed for the event, which is taking place on April 10. This will actually be my first school visit for the book, so I am extra grateful to get the ball rolling!

My visit will include:

• A reading of some of my favorite poems from Short Pump Bump
• Discussion of how I came up with ideas for the poem illustrations
• Samples of my original artwork from the book
• Free bookmarks for all the students!
• Kids who placed book orders in time will get their signed copies that day!
